How I take care of my bleached/damaged hair

Hey everyone,

It seems like my blog is a hair blog lately. Oh well...

As you all know I dyed, bleached, toned my hair for the last 6 years. So I wanted to share with you guys how I take care of my hair. Just a disclaimer here, I am not a professional hairstylist or hairdresser. I just do what works for me, in the end it's just hair it will grow back. If it doesn't , then oh well 'll just rock bald look any day. (Probably will get a tattoo if that happens :D)
So here are the tips how not to further damage your hair.

1. Don't wash your hair everyday!

I know what you're thinking - then how do u survive bad hair day? I use dry shampoo when my hair gets really oily. Using dry shampoo from time to time, instead of always washing your hair with regular shampoo, can actually protect your hair from damage. My favorite dry shampoo is from Batiste.
The team at Reviews.com tested some of the most popular dry shampoo formulas to figure out which ones were the best! I was so excited to see that my favorite brand, Batiste, made it to the top! You can check out the other winners here: https://www.reviews.com/dry-shampoo/  and find yourself a go to dry shampoo.

And time to time, yes dandruff is a problem. (I have allergy and also from bleaching my scalp gets really dry, Oh year I live in dry-est country - Mongolia) On those days, I... Well simple, rock a bun! I wear my hair up.

2. Coconut Oil + Castor Oil + Olive Oil

At least one a week, use oil mask for your hair. Ladder the oil mask at least 2-3 hrs before washing your hair.  I just eyeball the oil ratios depending on your hair length. Usually more coconut oil. I wear the mask day before going to bed and wash it the next morning. Cover your pillow with extra towel help you protect the sheets.

Oil mask helps get rid of dandruff and makes hair look shiny and moisturized.

3. No more heating

I have naturally really straight hair. And for some reason, my hair is really stubborn when it comes to styling. It got worse after it bleached and colored. So I barely use heating tools.
Thank god I like messy hair :D not a big fan of curls

4. Conditioning is must

I wash my hair 3-4 times a week, and try to use specific shampoo for colored hair. After shampooing I condition my hair twice. So conditioning is a must!

5. Trim regularly

I try to trim my split ends every two weeks. Since I'm laid back and chill with my hair, I do it myself. I don't worry much if I mess it up or not. AGAIN IT'S JUST A HAIR!

I think this is it. YEah, I hope you guys find this helpful - at least a little :P

Forgotten Indie Songs

Hi all,

Today I wanted to dig deep and find the songs I used to listen. I was such an indie kid in mid 2000's. Each song brings out so many good and emotional memories. I hope this list brings out your inner indie kid you used to be and brings as much as good memories and joy to you. Hope you all like the list.

Dedicated to my friend Tushig. I still miss you a lot.
